Infertility- counselling, investigation and treatment.

Ovarian reserve test- anti-mullerian hormone.

Contraception advise- all contraceptive methods, including combined oral contraceptives, progestogen only (“mini”) pills, emergency contraception (“morning-after” pills), Mirena IUS, copper intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) and surgical (sterilization) options.

Sexually transmitted infection- screen for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomoniasis, syphilis, HIV, genital warts (HPV) and hepatitis B.

Candidiasis (yeast/thrush) therapy.

Ovarian cyst- investigation and treatment. If surgery is required, laparoscopy is the preferred method.

Polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS)- counselling, investigation and treatment.

Endometriosis- counselling, investigation and treatment.

Fibroids (myoma)- counselling, investigation and treatment.

Menstrual disorders (heavy, irregular or painful periods)- counselling, investigation and treatment.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)- counselling, investigation and treatment.

Abnormal vaginal bleeding- investigation and treatment.

Abnormal vaginal discharge (candidiasis, bacterial vaginosis)- investigation and treatment.

Vulvar or vaginal itch, pain or discomfort- investigation and treatment.

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)- investigation and treatment.

Amenorrhoea and oligomenorrhoea- Kallman’s syndrome, Asherman’s syndrome, hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism, hyperprolactinoma, premature menopause (ovarian failure), resistant ovary syndrome.

Hirsutism and virilization- investigation and treatment.

Ectopic pregnancy and pregnancy of unknown location- investigation and treatment.

Vaginal prolapse- investigation and treatment.

Abnormal Pap smear (CIN)- further investigated with a colposcope.

Mirena IUS or copper IUCD- removal/insertion.

Genital warts- treatment by cautery under colposcopy.

Vulvar disorder (vulvodynia, vulvar dystrophy- lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, leukoplakia)- investigated with a colposcope.

CIN lesions- treatment by large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ) under colposcopy.

Menopause- counselling and management.

Vaccine- HPV, hepatitis B, rubella.
